Our first grandchild arrived on the 5th of August

I

   Isn’t she cute?  We think she is absolutely perfect.  She looked like a week old baby when she was only 15 minutes old. Amazing.  At 6 lbs. 11 oz. she is just the right size too.  We have been able to skype with the proud parents and aunt and watched her sleep.  I’m counting down the days till I get to meet her in person.  We feel so very blessed that Mommy and Daddy are doing well too!

The international flair of Vegas

While in Vegas for the wedding we played tourist on the hottest day of the year.  We loved seeing imitations of some of our favorite places: Eiffel Tower, Luxor with pyramids and the sphynx, New York, Venice.  We think it is neat that people can see such fun things without having to fly all over the world.
